LIVING HONOUR
An interactive website created by Sydney Coleman, Carmen Jerry, Samantha Liamzon, Kadence Meredith, Bee Bird, Dr. Charity Marsh, and Kelsey Lonie
with support from Dr. Evie Johnny Ruddy
Living Honour is an interactive website designed to bring the Saskatchewan Indigenous Veterans Monument (located in Victoria Park in Regina, Saskatchewan) to life. Living Honour seeks to make the monument more accessible to those who are unable to visit the site in person, and to amplify the monument's purpose of acknowledging and honouring Indigenous veterans―especially Saskatchewan Indigenous veterans―and their significant contributions to Canada's military history.
This project exists thanks to the generous support of the Indigenous Veterans Monument Committee, which provided the funding to the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) Regina, for this project. RUSI in turn reached out to the Faculty of Media, Art, and Performance at the University of Regina for support in developing the project.
